I just read on the site about Mrs. Goodman and it really upset me. Mrs. Goodman and my mom were in the same nursing home at
one time and Mrs. Goodman came in and prayed for my mom and they had a good visit. I ran into Sammie and Denise and it was
like a Altgeld reunion. I was wondering about how she was doing and now I know she has gone on to be with the Lord. I guess
what I am saying is if you have information on someone's passing put it out there on the website. Don't wait for Loisteen

Comments: Dear fellow AGER's, I got this info late tonight. Bernard Fleming class of 1970 and former resident of blk. 15 passed
and his services are being held at Progressive MB church on Friday, March 3 at 11:00. I don't know if this is the time of
the wake or the funeral. Bernard was the son of Esther Wheeler and his siblings that I remember were Delores Wheeler and Regina
Fleming. Bernard was also the husband of Alicia Hibbler and used to play the trumpet for R&B singer Tyrone Davis back
in the day, and he could really blow that horn. This is all the info that I have. You may send your condolences via the website

my friends in the one and only A.G. i'm the oldest daughter of the walker family in block eight (Lisa) you got to remember
all the walkers in block 8 i went to Carver High and played in the band (saxophone)big sister to bette,ella,sherry,reba and
our big brothers quentin and willie and my baby brother Larry Walker who was killed in 1984 at the age of 16. Our parents
are Willie (red) walker and Hazel Walker. We all grew up in the gardens which was just the best time ever. I remember all
my friends in block 8,the Jacksons the Lees, the Clarks, the Jones,Mother Morrison,the mongomery's the Caldwels the West's
the Roberts,the Macks just to name a few. I just wanted to send a shout out to all my peeps and send you my love and prayers.

I was up top too when he did his speech.The flyers were for the march in Washinton D.C.My mom took us to the march, we road
the big buses from the Gardens and came back the same night. That was an historical moment. I also remember Mrs. Hodges, her
favorite phase was "with ya trashy self". She was crazy funny! I pray all is well as can be with her in her illness. Thank
you Gloria for the 411 on her.Hey Genael I spoke with Elmos about 14 days ago around the time his wife Jackie was called home
to be with the Lord, this time last year. My how time flies. He is trying to do the best he can with what he got left to work

sorry. Who remembers when Dr. King came to the gardens. I will never for get that day, my parents sent me and Robette Pagan
to Al's Certified and they were setting up the bleaches and Dr. King was passing out fliers and shaking hands. He shook my
hand and I just looked at it and ran all the way back on and told my mother and father. I believe if I had not said Martin
Luther King, I probably would have got a whipping because I never went in the store. (smile) I remember my parents and everybody
in our block walking up there together. We were a DEEP community. It feels good to know you come from a place and time that

Your Comments: The passing of Coretta Scott King is all over the world by now. Dr. Martin Luther King's widow has now
been joined again with him. There are no words to express what is felt in the hearts of many in this time, place and history
but I find that the same words of comfort, peace and heartfelt sorrow are felt by all. We must remember that we are all here
