Your Comments: Once the jeannie is out the bottle it's hard to put it back in however i will do my best by not only NOT bubbing the cd and passing it on, Once it is released i will for sure purchase 2 of them one for myself and one for my cousin. Your Comments: let me say congrat. to you on your twin grandbabies,also tell your brother gersley thatI said what's happening, & everything is ok on this end,me & ernie aretrying to get the catholic to hold our block3 reunion concert/dance duirng the weekend of the altgeld picnic,maybe the fri. or sat. before the picnic,have to come to the person with an offer good enough to satisfy him so he will let us have the building,if anybody can help us with any advice on some kind of offer to give the man,just need some kind of advice that will help.we want all old the timers of block 3 to pitch in on this event,need all the help that we can get. thank you raymond johnson friends forever block3 also would like the block 3 old timers to get the same kind of t-shirts alike;if you need any info. about where to get them made cheap.I can tell you of a place where I go & you can have them ready in about3- 4days after giving them instructions of what your design is,they do a preety good job at least they did for me last year.

Your Comments: I agree, there may be some legal issues concerning the AG CD if posted on our web site. But we all got so excited about a song of our community. That is truly a blessing. I plan to buy the CD any way as soon as I find out the release and where it will be sold. My prayer is that even if we get a so call boot leg copy, we should still support our brother and each purchase a copy of his entire album. God bless him on this project and when we go purchase our copy it will be a blessing to us too.Ray Jay, I know I sent you a early Birthday wish but there is another one schedule to come on the 25th as well. God's blessings on you too!Now on a sad note, my cousin Sharon Malone (Minnesota) passed on Friday January 13,2006. Your Comments: I would like to comment on mrs. cheryl johnson special announcement about trying to push residents to move out;Iremember a documentary on the residents of Robert Taylor Homes what CHA did to them Iwrote that was probably going to the residents of altgeld too lo &behold what Iam hearing now CHA should have known that those residents are not going to throw their furniture away like that,they should have made these new units the same size or bigger for the residents big furniture & appliance, are they making these buildings condos or what? somebody please let me know;Iwill try and make this meeting for I'm concern about the faith of altgeld even tho Idon't live there anymore. Your Comments: The Park district will work with us pertaining to the fee and insurance. That's all we need. I'm on the board, so that is handled. However, whatever other plans we want to implement, need to be organized through a committee. There will always be a picnic in Altgeld as long as there is a park and the new plans call for the park to remain.

The park district has imposed a Fee for the altgelders that are useing the Plamer Park Premises for the carver picnic PT2.. and they may no longer /congregate there ..(as they will not pay the park for it,s use of a DJ!)so whereas they drifted there they may drift back, or not come at all...as it seems the Old-Old timers are either passing on or getting too old or sick to participate, and the 50ish and so will have too carry the torch! I remember Uncle George telling Me And Micheal Sullivan That about twenty years ago, and he was right!Take Heed from their experience for altgeld [ark is also park district and it may decide too impose a fee for the use of the park(after use maintenence,insurance ect..)because after renovation of the gardens, they may well decide that the picnic has gone on long enough! as altgeld will become a bussiness (condo,s mini mall ect..)and will demand permits. and as there are no actuall HPIC(Head persons in Charge) there will be no one to take responsabilty for the Picnic..Now This won,t happen right away, but it will Happend!so Just enjoy

My father was very sick for most of the year, but I am grateful and thank God for giving me and my family the strength to take care of him. Your Comments: I miss the gardens I wish we wouldn't have moved but I guess it was for the best but I have so many memories in that place it's ridiculous. I represent block 15 and 8. I was living out there for 12 and 1/2 years that was a long time and that is hard to pass on I try my best to visit every chance I get. Eventhough people say it's not the best place to live butI felt comfortable out there. I had friends and relatives that were close to me. I hated that I had to leave but my mother wanted to start and build a new life for me and my brothers because she wants us to be the best and away from all the negativity that was brought upon us. All I can say is I miss the Gardens and I hope that we will be able to back out there when they are through with the rehabillitaion.1 love ~*~*~*Nie~Nie*~*~*~
