"The Garden Spot of America."  "AltgeldGardens.com was developed as a way for us to stay connected ... from Block 1 to 17 ... from the Statue of  Liberty ... to the Golden Gate Bridge and beyond! 

No matter where I have traveled in this country, I would always meet someone who was either from AG, or, had attended Carver High School:   My wife and I were sitting in a restaurant in San Francisco and another African American couple was sitting at the next table.  We exchanged pleasantries and talked further.  We both learned that we were from the Gardens...his wife said: "What is it about you people from the Gardens?"  "We always seem to run into each other, no matter where we are."  I replied, "it's the same for us, because we are special"

I developed and created this website for us, you enhanced it, and I hope the experience is enjoyable.
